To Our Family of Patients,
Until further notice, we are following the new recommended guideline, announced by the Governor of New Jersey, that individuals who have traveled to the following states are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days:
Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin
If you or a household member has traveled to one of these states in the last 14 days, then we ask that you please call the office to reschedule your appointment for at least 14 days from your return into New Jersey. Obviously if you have an emergency we will take care of it with special arrangements--just call.
For example, if you traveled from New Jersey to Florida and returned home here on July 14th, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment for on or after July 28th.
We will update this state list as the Governor's office makes changes, based on data showing hot-spots of COVID-19 activity.
As always, please feel free to call the office with any questions. As we make new appointments, we will be asking if anyone in the household has traveled or will be traveling. We are committed to keeping our staff and patients safe and trust that you understand why we are choosing to follow the state's recommended guideline.
Everyone, please remember to keep washing your hands, wearing your masks, and to social distance, so that we can all remain safe and healthy!
I wanted to take a minute to discuss the Coronavirus and what we are doing to prevent the spread of this virus and keep our patients safe.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), coronaviruses usually come from animal sources such as bats and camels. We’ve seen before these coronaviruses cross from animals to humans, such as the SARS virus in 2002 and MERS virus in 2012, as well as the new 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). The COVID-19 has been in the news daily and discussed by people everywhere. But, and this is a good but, the world of dentistry is very prepared. We have established protocols which have been in place since the 1990’s to deal with the threat of HIV, TB and hepatitis and they have been updated over the years with the latest materials and hospital grade sterilization techniques.
According to the CDC, the dental community has been doing a very good job of protecting our patients via state-of-the-art infection control practices. We use personal protective equipment (PPE) including masks, gloves, protective eyewear, and lab jackets. Our use of disinfectants, up-to-date hospital grade sterilization practices, dedicated hand washing, and one-time-use disposable materials also have all helped make safe dental visits for our patients. All of these practices are the backbone of the CDC’s recommendations and the protocol that I have been using for twenty years to protect my patients and staff from many diseases including HIV, TB, hepatitis and now coronavirus. As always, feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns at 973-256-0275. We will continue to operate during our normal business hours but if you are showing flu like symptoms please call to change your appointment and try to give us 24 hours notice.

Now announcing!! Watch your favorite movie or show while you get your teeth cleaned! Watch Handmaid's Tale when you get your teeth fixed! Maybe some Comedians in Cars when you have your teeth whitened? How about catching up on Billions at your cleaning? Ask us next time you are in the office:)
We are proud to offer the latest in technology to make a better experience for our patients. Introducing the 3shape Trios digital scanner. This is a scanner that we use instead of traditional impression material. Think of it--no mess, no goop, no gagging!! And also on the plus side--more accurate, less chair time, fewer remakes, shorter time with a temporary. All great things that we are really excited to offer to our patients.
We have such great patients!! See more reviews here.
